open to his calling
walking in faith
not disappointed by the
answer
God has poured out his love
our lives an open vessel
ourselves poured out
filled to be a blessing
walking with the Lord
not just beside us
in the Garden, or when
Christ lived
not just the breath
that gives life to our clay
God’s love within us
the Spirit inside
his love poured into our
hearts
in God to abide
God enters our hearts
by that Holy Spirit
the same Spirit
that landed on Jesus
that fell upon the disciples
power on Pentecost
flames to change the world
stirring in us
the love of God
beating within us
the breath of God
coursing in our lives
the hope of a future
burning bright
the Spirit he gave us
giving us life
