Born
in that crucible
resolute,
strong, iron
standing
against adversity
a
Declaration was signed
a
dream was fostered
borning
a nation
hope
in one another
in
Liberty for all
Watched
over by the Creator
loving
us all, praying
hope
in a future
a
Dream that continues still
the
dream we stand for in this time
the
dream of this great land
our
home, America
for
thee we stand
Resolute
from attacks
from
foreign lands or within
seeking
the better nature
Peace
from sea to sea
hope
together fostered
one
nation, a people
may
we be a country, a city
shining
on the hill
