Commissioned by the Savior
to be his ambassadors, his
emissaries
his missionaries in the
world
doing the work
Equipped for the service
tools for the mission
the words of the scripture
the lessons of his life
the power of the Spirit
dwelling deep within our
hearts
guiding us, counseling
infusing us with power
empowering, equipping,
even when words will not
come
speaking for us,
from the needs of our hearts
lifting our concerns up to
God
giving us rest, peace
when we listen for his voice

“Almighty God, Giver of knowledge and might, we come
before your throne to worship You in Spirit and truth. We
pray that your Spirit of illumination would fall upon us
gathered here today so that we may hear your still small
voice, guiding us as we sojourn through this world. May
we
