Unlike in this Story – v3

The crowd gathered round her
the woman in the dust
found guilty, judged
ready for a stoning
until Christ cleared that crowd

We are another crowd
unlike in this story
picking up our stones
our marks of judgment
off the sanctuary floor

Ready to throw them in judgment
unashamed of our sin
ready to carry them with us
our judgment, our division
out into the world.
