We Hear the voice of God
raining down from heaven
resounding over the earth
sometimes in whispers
speaking directly to us
We Hear the voice of God
rent from the heavens
cutting across the sky
claiming Christ
announcing His holiness
Christ rose from the waters
the voice of God booming
anointing Him with His love
grace pouring down
the landing of the dove
We Hear the voice of God
announcing the Savior
the power in that moment
setting the whole world into
order
in commissioning His Son
Christ left the water to go
into this troubled world
to spread His message of
healing
the love of our God
sufficient
to bring us all to Him
