We are not being heard
the mass of the people
only the diehards
the poles, the spitballers
the extremes of our nation
they alone with a seat at
the table
only the wealthy
those who can buy power
they alone able
to grab the ear of justice
to turn the nation to them
to demand a seat at the
table
all of the rest of us
muzzled
denied our right to speak
all of us sheep
being led to slaughter
needing to stand up
to fight for a seat at the
table

Wall Street protests

calling on President Obama
and the world
to act in the Middle East,
especially in Libya and Bahrain,
to stand with the people
yearning to breathe free
and not worrying about the
results,
that it is always right to stand for basic human rights
&
on
the transformations since the beginning of January -
all
the protests in Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Oman,
Jordan,
Iran, Iraq, Palestinian Territories, Djibouti, Mauritania, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, etc.
