misunderstanding God’s
will
that the cross is
punishment
we are missing the point
God wants to live with us
to reconcile not to
punish
love not death,
estrangement,
God wants to live with us
a life in complete
harmony
why Christ came to save
us
why he, God, set us free
an enormous act of
kindness
to forgive not to avenge
God walking here with us
living in the flesh,
Immanuel,
God gave us life,
freedom,
God forgave us from death
taking our sin upon his
lovingly climbing the
cross
