For thus it is written

that all this must happen

to fulfill the law

to fulfill prophecy

I had to die, be killed

by the hired hands

the Messiah speaking

unbelieving eyes

coming to see

this was the Christ

the One crucified

Risen before them

in God’s victory

risen from the dead
