things that would divide us
the worst in people’s motives
believing too quickly
the hate of the mongers
spewing their bile
over the earth
believing the division
gossip as truth
that which divides us
nothing of love
believing others
taken at face value
rumors, suspicions
tarring others
with falsehood and doubt
not needing facts
far to inconvenient
a culture, belief
only on judgment
