Drenched in the Fire

Drenched in the fire
beyond human cleaning
made pure, light
living God, risen Christ
drape us in love
wearing Christ
the cloak of the Spirit
on the outside, upon us
living flames upon us
and the Spirit within us
guiding us in love

Robed for Heaven

Robed for heaven
bodies of light
transformed from the earth
to our heavenly delight

Rising like the Christ
at the end of our days
returning to heaven
to our celestial home

Clothe Us in Love

We, disciples of the Lord
saved by his choice
redeemed by his sacrifice
Clothe us in love
the mantle, the yoke
God, love
draped upon our lives

Able to forgive our neighbors
because we are loved
strengthened, free,
following the Christ
the example of our brother
guided by the spirit
walking in the way of love
