Spending time in
scripture
in the truth from God
from the Fear of the Lord
comes wisdom, courage
freedom, life evermore
The fear of the Lord is
not
something we want to
ponder
for we want a loving God
without the pain, the Judgment
at the end of the age
Spending time in
scripture
pondering God’s loving Word
recognizing the
difference
between Christ’s life and
our own
mired in the dust, the
clay
The fear of the Lord
gives understanding
the distance between God
and man
acknowledging our sin,
our limits,
more able to realize
the grace of the great I
Am.
