a message urgent
from this neighbor, this
stranger
to pull me, to sit
“you know how lucky you are,
how blessed.”
someone I don’t know
a parishioner at the other
church
someone who knows me
by my wife’s station
standing in the community
watching their performances
in the show last night
she called to me, “Mr. Foss”,
to speak this truth;
how lucky I am,
how truly blessed.
