Wanting to be used
my prayer, yet your choice
be to use me, even me,
hoping to be clay
a vessel of your love
Clay in your hand
to be shaped, transformed
the dross of my life
the bits, the shards,
cast off, restored
Empty without your Spirit
abiding within
a humble broken vessel,
of dust, of clay,
worthless without your presence;
Fill me today.
