Coaxed from the Clay – v2

our beings, not just our forms

coaxed from the clay,

pulled up from the lump

on the wheel, wooed

by the hands of the Potter

the breath of God alive

Spirit given and the stuff of the earth

each given personality, uniqueness

each of us a treasure, a vessel

worthy of God
