Gathering my broken clay

scattered in the world,

the hardness of my heart;

God picking me up

gently holding me, the Potter,

laying me in the depths

In the waters I die

God making my clay wet;

redeeming me completely

raising me from the deep

sending me forth

an appointment to keep
