I am angry

I am angry
I am frightened
I am lost in my thoughts
I know I am unable
to chart my own course
I long for comfort
for peace in my spirit
but I am angry
in the things I can’t change
my debt stalks me
while I try to be faithful
words coming, a torrent,
the well won’t run dry
Driven to serve
yet longing to be Mary
food for my soul
at the Master’s feet.
