I was to meet her
God’s plan, His design
but my dad’s plans
changed when it would be
God’s plan continues
His hand still controls
We don’t see the connection
living in the present tense
the steps on the path
but God’s hand is upon us
guiding us on the way
God’s plan continues
whether we see it or not
no matter our detours
His hand still controls.
