Like the Porch of the Maidens – v2

The row of their toothbrushes

the sisters, individually,

their heads, princesses,

like the Porch of the Maidens

that image of their marvel,

seen so long ago

Standing in the bathroom

there on the sink edge, stoic

so like their silent strong sisters

each standing gracefully

serene witnesses

ever so purposefully.

of the girls this morning
