Sarai’s
Plan
the fly in the ointment
the division rising still
two brothers, two nations
not God’s plan
because she was impatient
two houses rising
from Abram’s seed
why can’t we wait
for God’s fulfillment
so much pain, sorrow
when we go it alone
another structure rising
when God’s way is simple
thinking we can do it
when we should wait on
the Lord.
