That Smile – 2 – v2

I have seen that smile

break across your face

shed care and troubles

from your furrowed brow

bursting forth, unexpected

when struggles would wait

while joy washed you clean

I will miss those moments

with you, shared so often

few times will we come together

when I too will burst with joy

laughing at the coming of that smile
