We lift up these prayers
those spoken, unspoken
for the addicted, the
hurting
those whom we love
We lift up these prayers
in our hearts, in the
darkness
in our prayer closets
out in the world
We lift up these prayers
for wholeness, for healing
we come together
as a community of prayer
We lift up these prayers,
together
Lord, come down,
touch each heart
mend the brokenness
show them love.
