Christ was free, knowing God
choosing to be humble, to submit
to follow God’s leading
He walked the earth simply
He had not place to rest his head
He did not have much money
Christ was free, unencumbered,
He was not beholden to money
to no one on earth
crafting the words He spoke
He spoke truth to power
