sin
strands of
evil
of my past,
my life,
still woven
in the fabric
hard to cut
out,
to remove
completely
like the
tares from the wheat
roots still
buried
interwoven,
fused
melted,
joined together
a part of
the body
the
struggle day to day
to be more
faithful
