Fifteen to the bathroom – v2

letting off one teacher

at the place where he left his car

something very simple

complicated somehow

a trickle became a river

the feet in the aisle

9:30pm in Medway

the bus suddenly emptying

an impromptu bathroom break

a thought became a movement

six became fifteen

soon more like twenty

twenty minutes from home

but the lemmings couldn’t hold it

heading for the sea

one more time together

the bus emptying, quickly,

because the children had to pee
