hearing new words – v3

such words I have never heard

these new words of Jesus

of our Master, of Christ,

shared with us in the open

here on the mountain

words so different

than what we have been taught

sitting at His feet, with them,

staring with the others

all of us with our mouths wide open

not believing completely

but knowing these new words were

important, changing our lives;

a new way of understanding blessedness,

in these words of Jesus, of Christ,

hearing new words of life
