Transfiguration Sunday
“Gonna need shades”

Mystery Box –
§ sunglasses
-
When do you use sunglasses?
o
When it is bright out
o
When the sun hurts your eyes
o
so that it doesn’t damage
your eyes
-
Jesus is the Son, S, O, N
-
We live in a world filled with
a lot of darkness
-
not very bright
-
but having Jesus in our
lives
-
and that 24 hours that
changed the world
-
Jesus was light of the world
-
Jesus is pretty bright
-
with Jesus in us
-
We shine brightly
-
We/ our light touches others
-
when we touch them,
-
they can come to Jesus
-
they too can catch the light
-
they can shine brightly too
-
There is darkness around us,
-
it will be brighter
-
With Jesus in us, the Son is
shining
-
brightly within us
-
We’re gonna need shades.
