so separated from Jesus
from the way of the cross
the way to salvation
through His example, His
life
the challenge of Lent,
why we slow down,
to put the pieces together,
to breath the smoke of the
burning palms
trying to connect with that
time
to walk barefoot on these
stones,
to hear the lash and to see
His blood spilled;
To truly know that this was
not cheap grace
