The Seed Bursting – v4

The Christ dying,

the torture, the anguish;

His body rent open.

The seed bursting,

in the ground of Friday.

Quiet of Saturday, sleeping,

the seed dormant,

quiet in the tomb.

Bursting to life,

Oh, come Easter!;

rising with us

oh bring us new life!
