when you take on the yoke
of the law, of custom,
you have left God’s grace
you have abandoned
Christ’s freedom.
we must listen
to God’s Word only
all else a burden
a yoke we must not carry,
stuff of the world.
Christ bought our freedom
His blood on the cross
we must not pick up
the weight He took on
His sacrifice on the cross.
