Man was created
placed into creation
from the dust of the earth;
The breath of God
giving us life.
Not at the end,
on the sixth day only,
in this telling;
Much earlier on
God active in creating.
An active Creator
by His hands doing;
Man was formed and was
placed in the garden,
to tend and to care for
as the Maker planned.
