a wall, a keep,
boundaries, guardrails
a hedge of protection
around us
a line defining
who we are, really,
boundaries to keep out
the enemies, predators
lines to lead us
to Almighty God
boundaries of comfort
boundaries of challenge
lines to lead us
away from the world
boundaries, guardrails
a hedge of protection
boundaries to follow
commands for our walk
the guiding of the Spirit
words of protections
words of hope.
