Found in the Quietness – v5

Our comfort, our purpose
our calling in this life
is found in the quietness,
in the stillness,
in the presence of God

Setting time apart
in our room, on the mountain,
sitting with our Maker,
listening in the silence
for a word from our God

Our purpose, our center,
our service for the kingdom,
is found in the quietness
within the chaos
in our walk with God

“Michelle and I join with millions of Christians
here and across the world to mark Ash Wednesday.
As we observe the season of Lent, we receive
with thanksgiving this opportunity for grace and repentance,
recommit ourselves to our faith, and
remember our obligations to one another.”
