Looking down at Mary

as the Master spoke;

The pain of His words

cutting into flesh

Dropping my stone

hearing the others fall around me;

Leaving Him alone with her

in the shadow of our sin

Knowing something special

of how to walk each day;

Humble in my judgment

knowing my own way
