When we pray, as we live
do we really stop and ponder
do we ever really think
about
what was the price
to God, to Jesus
for the gift of salvation
the price for our lives
what Christ did at the cross
He laid down His life
He took on our sentence
He gave His life
that we may live
We have life in Him
because it was finished
Christ paid the price
to set us free
We may rejoice
for the gift of Jesus;
but we must remember to
price
that He paid for us
We were redeemed
from death, from damnation
from the free gift of Christ
we have eternal salvation
