infinite power

infinite power
foolishness to them
the cross a symbol
of complete subjugation
converted, changed
into God’s power
to heal, to redeem,
to defeat death itself
infinite power
in the crucifixion
in the Easter morning
Christ raised from the dead
sin and death
like Rome without power
the foolishness to them
greater than all else
