I know the prayers of David

each of the psalms we read
are about the human condition
our sins, our brokenness,
our separation from God
reading the words of scripture
of God’s faithful servant
we can relate to his struggles
his journey here on earth
I know the prayers of David
of confession, of praise of God
I know the words he offered
even those written in song
each of the psalms we read
area about the human condition
our sins, our brokenness,
our separation from God
