Fruit Flies – v2

He was a real lady killer

a women’s man

for sure, for sure

an entomologist in training

living out his studies

in our dorm room;

He had fruit flies

growing, in the dark,

in his desk drawer

living on a poultice

of past-ripe bananas;

Oh, Yum
