At God’s Time – v2

We plant, we water

we watch for growth,

for change, in human time,

by the calendar, the clock

the change of the seasons,

the cycles of our measured life

The harvest, of the garden we tend,

in God’s time alone

Kairos, not Chronos, time alone;

We are to be faithful,

toiling in our time

ready for the harvest

at God’s appointed hour
