become like rice paper

become like rice paper

the bloom of the #lily
still beautiful, calling,
become like rice paper,
all texture and hew...

dried of the moisture
wicked of its essence
a living shell remaining
protecting the #seed,
the kernel within

living, aged, #beauty
like old crumpled linen
the trumpet curled inward
a #hope growing within
