worth the fight

worth the fight, the effort,

the continuing struggle

the flesh, the spirit,

taking up the book, the cross,

fulfilling out purpose

our part in God's plan.

worth the fight, the effort,

putting in the time, the work

seeking to change, to serve,

not in fear but victory

not overwhelmed by the storms

the lies of this world.
