running out to him

running out to him

the loving father

running out to him

to the prodigal son

out on the road

not waiting for him

to get to the threshold

running out to him

out on the road

the same loving father

calling to us, wooing,

ready to meet us

out on the road

only calling to us

to turn, to begin our journey

God runs out to us

out on the road
