The pain on her face - v2

Seeing her little Star of David,
words in Hebrew, of love,
hanging around her neck,
asking her about this weekend,
terror in the Promised Land.
 
The pain on her face
palpable, so telling, present,
the word "horrific", so correct,
bleeding from her lips, prayer,
knowing there is more to come.
 
Sharing our faiths, our beliefs,
all children of the same Father,
the one Creator, different sheep,
sharing the same story, the law,
all thinking about this terror.
