I hear you calling to me - v2

Walking across the parking lot,
From the bank to the store,
Raising my eyes to the sky,
Feeling a stirring in my spirit,
A voice within the clouds...
 
I hear you calling to me,
across the Highlands,
In verse, in rhyme, In rhythm,
In a language of my ancestors,
The place of their birth, and yours,
 
I have seen your room,
The village, the roofs,
I have smelled the heather,
Crossing Loch Lomond,
Not on either side...
