Captured within its body - v3

Three mouths, all screaming,
as if a wooden gargoyle,
just above the earth,
frozen, with mouths open,
as were the creatures of Narnia,
Who dared to challenge the queen...
 
A soul crying out,
deep with its fibers,
held for an eternity,
Captured within its body
the trunk of the tree...
 
Plants, leaves, the underbrush,
cleared from around it,
exposing the tortured soul,
Captured within its body
the trunk of the tree...
