clothe me with joy – v2

In my sorrow, in my crying,
in my night in the pit, in Sheol;
I lift up this prayer to heaven,
to You, Almighty God…
 
Clothe me with joy,
let the dawn shine upon me,
Raise me from my struggle,
from my trials, from my weeping…
 
Let me stand on the mountaintop,
may I shout Your praises on earth;
Lord, reach down and touch me,
Raise me, lift me from the pit…
