Longing for meaning – v2

Sipping a cup of purpose,
Drinking in my calling,
Cleaving to the eternal;
Holy Spirit, speak to my soul…

Longing for meaning,
For my path to be fruitful,
Wanting to know for certain,
Which path, which road to take…

But life doesn’t always work that way,
We must step out in faith, uncertain,
We must trust in the calling of God,
For God alone knows the way…

Psalm 30:5
For God’s anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
