Alabaster Air – v2

I can remember a night,
a hushed quiet night,
when I sat and melted
into the Alabaster air…
bleed from me the cares of the day,
wash me of my stress.
 
I can feel the stillness in the dusk,
wrap me in the cooling,
draw the night to my breast,
Alabaster air within me,
hear my subtle breath,
slowing in my chest.
