Up over the gardens – v2

Our vision rising, carried aloft,
Up over the gardens, above
the promenade, the portico,
rising above the stairs, the statues,
up over the castle’s rooftops,
to the sky, the heavens, the heights…
 
Arched doorways, arched windows,
experiencing the grandeur, royalty,
from a new perspective, our vision
sensing more deeply history, majesty,
gravitas, raw power of another age
captured in this place...
