Sharpening our iron with the Spirit’s breath – v2

We must stand resolute, righteous,
sharpening our iron with the Spirit’s breath…
We stand in the gap, the gate, on the wall,
taking up our armor, our conviction,
our purpose to serve You Lord...
 
We stand as a people, appointed, anointed,
called and commissioned to do Christ’s work,
We are to rise, to walk righteously, to bear God’s light,
to be a message of love to a broken world
our purpose to serve You Lord...
 
We must stand resolute, righteous,
sharpening our iron with the Spirit’s breath…
We must stand with the others, with the downtrodden,
taking up our calling, our mission, God’s sword,
our purpose to serve You Lord…
