We deserve the pit

We deserve the pit,
the realm of darkness,
Our sin is a stain,
an awful legacy…
 
But God has redeemed us,
through the blood of Jesus,
We are raised from the dead,
to rise with Him…
 
We deserve the pit,
but we receive heaven,
Our lives are reborn,
in the risen Christ…
 
God restores us,
the connect with Him,
Each Prodigal child welcomed,
when we run for home…
